Directions given to Actor 1

Before filming Izzy's scenes for the short film, we gave him a sheet to prepare for his role and some directions. This made sure that we didn't waste time on time consuming things.

Joseph – he is always happy and smiling has a bop when he walks. He’s friendly and has a strong accent (stereotypical African)

Outfit – colourful t-shirt/shirt, colourful tie that doesn’t match, black trousers, and black smart shoes do you have these?

Script

Frame 28-36

(Joseph bops down the road and joins Edward on the bench, then turns to him)

Joseph: Eh it’s beautiful weather

(Joseph looks Edward up and down)

Joseph: you must be important man eh

Frame 37-42

(Anna rushes past Edward and Joseph with her skirt rolled up she notices and fixes it, Joseph looks at Anna)

Joseph: You’re beautiful like weather eh

(Joseph looks Anna up and down)

Story- you will start off in one of our kitchens dancing to a afro beats song while taking your toast out of the toaster (you will already be dressed except your tie) you will then put your tie on then tell your mum you're leaving and leave the house as you walk down the road you will be bopping and smiling you then see our other actor on the bench who looks posh and join him while you wait for your bus to arrive. You look him up and down and say your other lines to him. After that you will get on and off a bus and walk to your office where it then be revealed that you are a man of importance as you are a CEO of a charity.
